Site Description

The River’s Edge Ranch is a 20-acre ranch located on 33433 Haynes Rd, Lucerne Valley, California. The Ranch is south of Haynes Road, west of Verdugo Road, and east of the State Route 247. Lucerne Valley is known for its extremely dry climate, clayey soil, and flat landscape. The majority of the ranch’s land is barren and empty, which provides a lot of space for development. Two existing wells exist on the ranch that are about 150 ft deep, but are dried up and no longer in use. The ranch also has a third well that has water but is not in use due to the large volume of sodium in the water. Its main building consists of the kitchen, an office, temporary bedrooms, two restrooms, and an open space for gathering and eating. In addition to a bunkhouse, a small room to be used for the water filtration system, a large gathering space, and temporary storage for tools. The rest of the land on the property is dedicated for the animals that reside on the ranch, which include chicken coups, pig pens, horse stables, etc.
